Oral test is one of the component in the continuous assessment for English for Communication II(SPA 203). Students merely felt reluctant to take part in oral test. I felt that students should be given more opportunity to speak in the class, rather than we spoon feed them with grammar skills which really a boredom to them. English speaking tips

Today during my class, one student approached me and asked me for tips to speak good English. i just replied practice makes perfect! you can't expert to play piano like Mozart, when you first started playing the piano.But, here are few tips that we can ponder on :


1.  To learn to speak clearly
2. Get over any fear you might have of making mistakes. You will make mistakes.
3. Be patient with yourself. Learning any language can be frustrating, but frustration won't help you, so let it go.
4. Grasp every opportunity you have to speak with people in English.
5. Read short stories out loud and try to see, say and hear the words to reinforce your memory. Record yourself and play it back later, how does it sound?
